Partnerships

SLCNM does not work in isolation, currently, it is enjoying the mutual relationships which exist between itself and its partners. SLCNM partners collaborate with a number of partners in a variety of ways and as below

CHAM : Coordinating agent between sister training institutions and lobbying for donor partners.

NCA

A development partner in achieving quality nurse training through provision of material resources and staff development.

Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi: This is a regulatory body for all nursing training institution including SLCNM . They strive to maintain quality training.

NONM and AMAMI

These are nursing and midwifery organizations striving to protect the rights and responsibilities of nurses and midwives. They foster unity among the nurses and midwives. Since the essence of the existence of the college is to train nurses these organizations play a vital role to uphold the existence of nurses as human beings who deserve their due respect

MINISTRY OF HEALTH

This is a policy making institution. It governs all issues related to health and training. It is also responsible for donor coordination and control. Needless to say it is its sole responsibility to provide quality health services to all Malawians

OTHER TRAINING INSTITUTIONS

Other training institutions like MCHS, KCN, and College of Medicine are key partners in that we share resources information, and expertise in issues of training and research
