The Faculty of Nursing offers Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician programme and ensures that students gain necessary qualifications and a professional identity. For over 50 years, we have been passionate about educating and improving highly qualified nursing, midwifery technicians by providing the knowledge and professional skills and forming the system of attitudes and values and implementation of health policies and strategies.
As one of the Christian Health Association of Malawi Nursing College in the country, we provide many opportunities for students to gain valuable, hands-on experience both practical with state-of-the-art simulation experiences using high-fidelity mannequins as well as clinical experiences throughout the programs that will ensure them receive a well-rounded education founded both in academic theory and real-world application to meet the health needs of the country and global communities. The Faculty consists of four main academic departments: Basic Studies department, Medical Surgical department, Community and Mental Health department and Clinical Studies department.
