St Luke’s College of health sciences offer health related programs: Public health and Community development which have external examination boards. These qualifications are specifically offered to empower learners to respond effectively and professionally to issues that impact hugely on community and country. The learners progress through levels with latest thinking on both public health and community development management. The courses are designed for students who have finished Malawi School certificate of Examination or those who are working and want to gain new knowledge in public health and community development. For over 5 years, we have been providing knowledge and professional skills to many students who are serving Malawians in both government and non-governmental Organizations.
We provide many opportunities for students to gain valuable, hands-on experience in different government Hospitals, district council/assemblies, and water treatment sites and non-governmental organization. The courses are offered during weekdays and weekends. We have well trained staff who are specialized in most of the courses that are offered, in total the department has fourteen lecturers.
